Hackerspace-Kollektiv in Zürich
Im Sommer 2020 entstand eine neue Hackerspace Gemeinschaft im Herzen von Zürich, als kollektives Unterfangen im Zusammenschluss von Chaos Computer Club Zürich (CCCZH), Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Mechatronische Kunst (SGMK), Digitale Gesellschaft (DigiGes), Linux User Group Schweiz (LUGS), und später dazugestossen sind dann noch das Real Life Café (RL) und Hackteria.

ALLES IST EINS. AUSSER DER 0. erzählt eine Geschichte digitaler Subversion: vom exklusiven Club zu einer Instanz, die heute bei allen Fragen der Netzpolitik zu Rate gezogen wird. Der Dokumentarfilm von Klaus Maeck und Tanja Schwerdorf setzt der bekanntesten deutschen Hackervereinigung ein stilsicheres, kraftvolles und würdiges Denkmal. Selten hat man ein so eindringliches Porträt über Zeitgeist-Pioniere gesehen, deren Weitblick für die Gegenwart so beeindruckend wie bereichernd ist.

A Chinese scientist disappears after developing the first designer babies, shocking the world and the entire scientific community, but an investigation shows he may not have been alone in his experiment to create "better" human beings.
The creative team behind the film includes the celebrated writer Mark Monroe, of The Cove (Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature 2010) and Icarus (Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2017) and Academy Award winning executive producer Geralyn White Dreyfous. Greg O'Toole is a documentary film editor and writer whose feature documentaries have screened at festivals around and since 2011 have been nominated for 8 National Emmy's, including for Best Editing and Best Documentary. Award winning director Cody Sheehy and CRISPR scientist S. Kiani filmed for three years in the United States and China documenting the story of the first genetically enhanced human babies.

Since summer 2020 we have initiated a new local programme in Switzerland under the name «Hackteria – Zentrum für Experimentelle Transdisziplinarität» and we proudly started a new space, as part of Bitwäscherei shared hackerspace collective, with dedicated facilities for the «Open Science Lab».
A laboratory, a social learning space, a place of work and research, a transdisciplinary meeting point for designers, hackers, artist, foodies and fermentation activitists.

See all other participating hackerspaces worldwide
- make a press release and spread this around your (local) newspapers, websites etc. (include nice hires pic with people on it)
- explain the word 'hacker' and maker (some people have still a negative/criminal interpretation of hackers)
- show people around your space and explain what a hackerspace is.
- give an workshop eg soldering, programming, arduino
- give a 'lecture' about privacy, IoT (and lack of security), open source software.

Tag der offenen Hack*spaces 2023
Am 25. März 2023 findet der “International Open Hackerspace Day” (2023) statt, bei dem sich zeitgleich viele Hack*spaces einer breiten Öffentlichkeit vorstellen können. Diese Aktion wird breit beworben werden, u.a. über ccc.de als Pressemitteilung.
Zum zehnjährigen Jubiläum des Internationalen Tags des offenen Hackerspaces lädt der Chaos Computer Club (CCC) am Samstag, 25. März 2023, ein, auch hierzulande mit echten Nerds und Hackerinnen zusammenzukommen und dabeizusein, wenn wir mit Euch gemeinsam Hardware und Hackingmythen zerlegen. Wer sich selbst ein Bild machen will, sollte vorbeikommen.
Auch in diesem Jahr wollen wir uns vorstellen, unsere Werkstätten öffnen, unsere vielfältigen Projekte sowie elektronische und mechanische Spielereien zeigen, mit Euch bei Mate oder Brause über die sozialen Folgen technischer Entwicklungen fachsimpeln oder einfach nur gemeinsam still oder aufgeregt Computern beim Dinge ausrechnen zuschauen.
In mehr als einem halben Dutzend Ländern werden Hackerspaces mitmachen und ihre Tore öffnen. Auf der Karte findet Ihr jeweils Links zu den teilnehmenden Spaces.
