Das Berghaus Birchweid ist in nur 8 Minuten mit einer modernen 15-Personen-Luftseilbahn ab Talstation erreichbar. Diese liegt an der Gotthardstrasse zwischen Flüelen und Altdorf, an der N2 Basel-Luzern-Gotthard (Ausfahrt Altdorf Nord) oder N4 Zürich-Zug-Brunnen-Flüelen. Vom Bahnhof Flüelen (Schnellzughalt und Schiffstation) ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss, auch Busverbindung.
Das Berghaus ist von der Bergstation der Luftseilbahn in 5 Minuten erreichbar und liegt auf gleicher Höhe wie die Bergstation.

The house Birchweid is reachable via aerial cableway. The valley station of the cableway is at Gotthardstrasse between Flüelen and Altdorf, that's highway N2 Basel-Lucerne-Gotthard (exit Altdorf Nord) or highway N4 Zurich-Zug-Flüelen. From the railway station Flüelen the valley station is reachable in 10 minutes by walking. There's also a bus connection.
The house is only a 5 minutes walk away from the mountain station on the same level.

Workshop 1: Uwe: " more music on long thin wires "
group installation inspired by Alvin Luciers 1977 piece. If the weather is fine (what else), it will be an outdoor installation, else indoor. I will bring magnets, 2 x 10m piano strings, other steel wires, piezos + preamp and other stuff needed. If you can, also bring some materials, in particular piano strings or any spring steel wire
