The Rübedrum is a custom circuit board designed to turn its housing into a synth drum, triggered by hitting the case ,which can be basically any object of your liking. This is not your regular DIY Workshop where everyone will build the same thing, but rather an opportunity to get creative and build your one of a kind electronic instrument. About Rübezahl
Ruben Rübe, also known as Rübezahl, is an electronic musician and instrument builder based in Taiwan. For many years he is creating his own electronic instruments like synthesizers and effect units. Mostly employing classic analogue electronics and being self thought he is very enthusiastic about spreading his knowledge and passion for creating electronic sounds from scratch. In the last years he teached many classes from little kids to grown ups, public or at institutions like among others the Shih Chien University or the Taiwan University of Arts. For the summer he is now visiting Europe and passing by Zurich, teaming up with SGMK to offer this class.
