We would like to propose running a workshop on assembling and programming the PewPew game consoles (https://hackaday.io/project/159733). The workshop will include through-hole parts soldering, a tutorial on basic programming in CircuitPython (the tutorial is available at https://pewpew.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorial.html) and then, if time allows, writing a simple game and/or connecting LEDs to it and blinking them. We have 30 kits for the purpose, each one costs 10 CHF. We have successfully run such a workshop at EuroPython in Basel recently. Radomir only speaks English, but Christian also speaks Swiss German, in case there are participants who don't speak English very well. The workshop can take from 2 to 4 hours, depending on time available. We will need soldering irons and solder for the participants. A projector (beamer) would also be useful, but we can bring our own if needed. We can also bring the devices already
pre-assembled, and skip the soldering part. The workshop is for everyone who would like to learn programming simple games with Python. A laptop computer and a micro-USB cable will be required to participate.

Christian Walther and Radomir Dopieralski: PewPew game consoles
We can also bring the devices already pre-assembled, and skip the soldering part. The workshop is for everyone who would like to learn programming simple games with Python. A laptop computer and a micro-USB cable will be required to participate.

Game Programming with PewPew and CircuitPython
Did you always want to make a computer game, but could never get through those complex tutorials? Now is your chance to become a full-stack game developer. We will take you through the process step by step, starting with constructing your game console, up to a finished game. Just bring your laptop with a micro-USB cable. (It will also help if you install the Mu editor from http://codewith.mu/.) We welcome all participants of at least 12 years of age, no experience with Python or electronics required.
Talks
Stefan Huber: Web MIDI API
Wenn es Interesse gibt, kann ich am Flick the World 2019 einen Lightning talk (10min) über «Web MIDI API · What can we do with a Browser and MIDI» machen.

Publikationen/Werbung
- Website: Dock18/Daniel registriert flicktheworld.ch.
- Flyer
- Poster
- Banner (Textil)
- Sticker (nur Logo)
- Social Media (Twitter, FB, Insta)

- Pizza selbst gebacken (Mario)?
- Sandwiches for the workers (Ziegel/Mario)?
- Getränkeverkauf (Freiwillige, 2 Tage und 1 Abend)
